At Southern Thoughts we are trying to strike a balance between business and public service.  We have to do the business, we want to do the public service.  We believe that the "Internet Public" can use all of the service it can get.

There is a lot of disservice on the Internet, a lot of web sites that are all hype and no substance - Southern Thoughts doesn't want to be one of those.  We try to describe our products and services rather than hype them - perhaps it's our New Orleans heritage.

There are a lot of web sites on the Internet that offer little more than the "we are here, call us" message - Southern Thoughts does not want to be one of those.  We require all Associates to publish White Papers dealing with their area of expertise.  We want all visitors to get something out of visiting the site, even if they don't buy anything.  A little lagniappe, something extra - it's part of our culture in the South of Louisiana.

There are a lot of web sites on the Internet that are very stale, a lot of sites where one visit is more than enough - Southern Thoughts doesn't want to be one of those.  We are always adding something new to the site - it just keeps growing.
